Planeación desde Rectoría para Marzo 2025

Queridas Familias:

Iniciamos marzo con gratitud y alegría, celebrando haber sido uno de los colegios anfitriones de la Segunda Cumbre de UNCOLI, el pasado viernes 28 de febrero, y con el orgullo de ser reconocidos como el colegio más sostenible del mundo en la categoría K-12 por el Best of Green Schools 2025.

Este reconocimiento refleja el compromiso de toda nuestra comunidad con un modelo educativo innovador y de vanguardia, donde el bienestar, la felicidad y la sostenibilidad son pilares fundamentales. ¡Gracias por ser parte del Rochester!

A continuación, compartimos información relevante para este inicio del mes:

Pan Compartido Marzo. Desde el día de hoy, lunes 3 de marzo, hasta el lunes 17 de marzo, damos inicio a la recolección de Pan Compartido, una iniciativa con la que juntos ayudamos a 23 familias de la Institución Educativa Oficial Fonquetá, promoviendo el Fin de la Pobreza (ODS 1),  el Hambre Cero (ODS 2), la Salud y Bienestar (ODS 3) y la Reducción de Desigualdades (ODS 10),  y , fomentando de esta manera una sociedad más equitativa. ¡Gracias por ser parte de este propósito! En el archivo adjunto encontrarán los productos correspondientes.

Encuestas Institucionales. Como les comentamos la semana pasada, estamos evaluando nuestro Plan Estratégico y la percepción de nuestras familias es fundamental para poder refinar y ajustar los enfoques que tenemos. Compartimos los links y les recordamos que se debe diligenciar una encuesta por cada hijo(a). Su participación nos permite seguir mejorando y fortaleciendo nuestro compromiso con una educación basada en los pilares de ambiente, aprendizaje y responsabilidad interior.

Taller de Crianza Inspiradora y Feliz –  Nivel 2, Marzo 12. El jueves 12 de marzo, tendremos el Taller de Crianza Inspiradora y Feliz, Nivel 2. Los invitamos a participar con el propósito de conocer más a fondo sobre cómo usar la Teoría de la Elección en la crianza de sus hijos (as), cómo conciliar y cómo solucionar conflictos teniendo en cuenta el yo, los otros y el contexto. Inscríbete en el siguiente link: https://www.rochester.edu.co/talleres-cif

Tercer Período Académico. Este mes seguimos trabajando con los estudiantes en el desarrollo de habilidades útiles para la vida y el mundo. Las presentaciones de aprendizaje serán el viernes 28 y el sábado 29 de marzo. La planeación es fundamental para gestionar el tiempo de manera efectiva, establecer metas claras y avanzar con autonomía en el proceso de aprendizaje. Los invitamos a acompañar a sus hijos(as) en este proceso, fomentando la organización y la responsabilidad. ¡Sigamos creciendo juntos!

Shared Bread – March. Starting today, Monday, March 3, until Monday, March 17, we begin the Shared Bread collection. Through this initiative, we come together to support 23 families from Institución Educativa Oficial Fonquetá, promoting No Poverty (SDG 1), Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), thus fostering a more equitable society. Thank you for being part of this purpose! In the attached file, you will find the list of required products.

Inspiring and Happy Parenting Workshop – Level 2 | March 12. On Thursday, March 12, we will hold the Inspiring and Happy Parenting Workshop, Level 2. We invite you to participate and deepen your understanding of how to use Choice Theory in parenting, how to reconcile differences, and how to resolve conflicts while considering yourself, others, and the broader context. Third Academic Term. This month, we continue working with students on developing skills for life and the world. The learning presentations will take place on Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29. Planning is essential for effective time management, setting clear goals, and advancing with autonomy in the learning process. We encourage you to support your children in this journey, fostering organization and responsibility.
