Queremos expresar nuestro sincero agradecimiento por su apoyo y participaci\u00f3n en las presentaciones de aprendizaje. Su compromiso hace una gran diferencia en la experiencia educativa de nuestros estudiantes.

\u00a1Les damos la bienvenida al segundo per\u00edodo acad\u00e9mico! Estamos emocionados por todo lo que vendr\u00e1 y esperamos seguir trabajando juntos para brindar lo mejor a nuestros ni\u00f1os, enfatizando nuestra meta de alta prioridad,\u00a0\u201ccada estudiante se siente seguro y querido, aprende todo lo esperado, y sus padres as\u00ed lo perciben\u201d.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A continuaci\u00f3n, compartimos algunas actividades que tendremos para el inicio de este segundo bimestre:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mi\u00e9rcoles, 30 de octubre – D\u00eda de Cero Residuos Alimentarios<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este mes, celebraremos el D\u00eda de Cero Residuos Alimentarios para crear conciencia sobre la cantidad de residuos generados durante el almuerzo. El \u00c1rea de Sostenibilidad estar\u00e1 presente para apoyar a estudiantes y adultos en nuestro compromiso de comer todo lo que pedimos. En un d\u00eda regular se generan entre 80 y 100 kilogramos de residuos org\u00e1nicos; nuestra meta es lograr 20 kilogramos. \u00a1Juntos, podemos hacer la diferencia!

Jueves, 31 de octubre – Celebraci\u00f3n de Halloween<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El d\u00eda de Halloween, nos unimos a nuestra celebraci\u00f3n tradicional de decorar bolsitas de dulces para los ni\u00f1os de nuestras fundaciones aliadas. Los padres de familia est\u00e1n invitados de 8:20 a 9:00 a.m. para juntos compartir y tener una ma\u00f1ana llena de gratitud y alegr\u00eda. Esta actividad est\u00e1 liderada por el Consejo de Padres y la Fundaci\u00f3n Educativa Rochester. \u00a1Todos nos podemos venir disfrazados! La felicidad ocurre aqu\u00ed y ahora, en mi disfraz favorito.

Viernes, 1 de noviembre – D\u00eda Profesional<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este d\u00eda ser\u00e1 el D\u00eda Profesional y los estudiantes no asistir\u00e1n a clases. Todos los colaboradores del colegio tendr\u00e1n sesiones de capacitaci\u00f3n de acuerdo con el rol que cada uno desempe\u00f1a. El aprender es parte de la cultura Rochesteriana y nos ayuda a estar listos para los retos que tenemos en el d\u00eda a d\u00eda.

Jueves, 7 de noviembre – Horario del Lunes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por favor, tener en cuenta que el jueves 7 de noviembre, tendremos horario de clases de d\u00eda lunes, con el fin de reponer los d\u00edas festivos del mes de noviembre.

<\/em>Wednesday, October 30 – Zero Food Waste Day<\/em><\/strong>
<\/em>This month, we will celebrate Zero Food Waste Day on this day to raise awareness about the amount of waste generated during lunch time. The Sustainability Area will be present to support students and adults in our commitment to eat everything we order. On a regular day, between 80 and 100 kilograms of organic waste are generated; our goal is to achieve 20 kilograms. Together, we can make a difference!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday, October 31 – Halloween Celebration<\/em><\/strong>
<\/em>On Halloween, we will join our traditional celebration of decorating treat bags for the children from our allied foundations. This activity is led by the Parents’ Council and the Rochester School Educational Foundation. Parents are invited from 8:20 to 9:00 a.m. to share together and enjoy a morning full of gratitude and joy. Everyone is welcome to come in costume! Happiness happens here and now, in my favorite costume.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday, November 1 – Professional Day<\/em><\/strong>
<\/em>This day will be Professional Day, and students will not attend classes. All school staff will have training sessions according to the role each one plays. Learning is part of the Rochesterian culture and helps us be ready for the daily challenges we face.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday, November 7 – Monday\u2019s Schedule<\/em><\/strong>
<\/em>Please note that on Thursday, November 7, we will follow Monday’s class schedule in order to make up for the holidays in November.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
