El mes de noviembre, mes enfocado en la gratitud, va avanzando y nos sentimos contentos y agradecidos de fortalecer nuestros lazos como comunidad, creando un ambiente de respeto y apoyo mutuo. A todas las familias un abrazo lleno de gratitud por las bellas decoraciones de Navidad. Nuestro colegio est\u00e1 lleno de colores, magia y luz. Gracias!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nuestros estudiantes han venido desarrollando las habilidades \u00fatiles para la vida y el mundo, que se han planteado en cada una de las asignaturas. Durante este mes, hemos tenido varias actividades, entre la cu\u00e1les nos gustar\u00eda mencionar las siguientes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Modelo de Naciones Unidas MiniMUN.<\/strong> En este modelo participaron los estudiantes de 6to y 7mo Grado, liderado por estudiantes de 10mo y 11mo Grado. Estos modelos fomentan habilidades significativas como la cooperaci\u00f3n, el liderazgo, la resoluci\u00f3n de conflictos y la comunicaci\u00f3n efectiva, preparando a los estudiantes para ser ciudadanos globales comprometidos, que tienen en cuenta las necesidades propias, de los dem\u00e1s y el contexto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Green Apple Day of Service.<\/strong> El pasado viernes, los estudiantes de Prejard\u00edn a 4to Grado participaron en diferentes actividades encaminadas a promover el cuidado del planeta, la conciencia ecol\u00f3gica y el compromiso con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Siembra de \u00c1rboles<\/strong>. El s\u00e1bado 16 de noviembre, varios estudiantes de Bachillerato Alto acompa\u00f1ados de sus pap\u00e1s, profesores y directivos, sembraron 1,000 \u00e1rboles, buscando proteger la reserva natural de Tiquiza. Agradecemos al ex-ministro de Ambiente, Ricardo Lozano, quien nos acompa\u00f1\u00f3. El ex-ministro qued\u00f3 muy contento de ver todos los esfuerzos del colegio y envi\u00f3 un saludo a toda la comunidad, anim\u00e1ndonos a seguir cultivando una relaci\u00f3n de cuidado y protecci\u00f3n de la naturaleza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Integraci\u00f3n Escuela Media. <\/strong>Una felicitaci\u00f3n especial a las familias de Escuela Media, a las representantes de 5to, 6to y 7mo Grado, y a Alejandro Pati\u00f1o, Director de Nivel, por la bella integraci\u00f3n del d\u00eda s\u00e1bado. \u00a1Qu\u00e9 especial disfrutar un d\u00eda en comunidad!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Estamos ya listos para dar inicio a la Navidad, con nuestro Christmas Concert: Respect, Optimism & Gratitude<\/em><\/strong> y Noche de Velitas<\/em><\/strong>, el martes 26 de noviembre, a las 5:00 pm. \u00a1Los esperamos a todos para juntos apoyar a nuestros artistas y maestros, encender las velitas, s\u00edmbolo de luz y gratitud, dando gracias por lo que hemos recibido durante el a\u00f1o! #RochesterGivesThanks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Con aprecio, The month of November, focused on gratitude, is moving along, and we feel happy and grateful to strengthen our bonds as a community, creating an environment of respect and mutual support. To all families, a heartfelt embrace filled with gratitude for the beautiful Christmas decorations. Our school is now filled with colors, magic, and light. Thank you so much!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Our students have been developing life- and world-relevant skills in each of their subjects. During this month, we have carried out several activities, including the following:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n MiniMUN Model United Nations. <\/em><\/strong>Students from 7th and 8th Grades participated in this event, led by 11th and 12th Grade students. These models foster significant skills such as cooperation, leadership, conflict resolution, and effective communication, preparing students to be committed global citizens who consider their own needs, the needs of others, and the broader context.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Green Apple Day of Service. <\/em><\/strong>Last Friday, students from Pre-Kindergarten to 4th Grade engaged in various activities aimed at promoting planet care, ecological awareness, and a commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Tree Planting. <\/em><\/strong>On Saturday, November 16th, several High School students, accompanied by their parents, teachers, and school leaders, planted 1,000 trees to protect the Tiquiza nature reserve. We thank former Minister of Environment Ricardo Lozano for joining us.
